Best Laser Engravers for Metal in 2026

Engrave metal surfaces including stainless steel and anodized aluminum.

Bare metal engraving requires a fiber laser — diode and CO2 beams reflect off most metal surfaces. The exception is coated metals: spray coatings (Cermark, Brilliance), anodized aluminum, and black powder-coated surfaces can be engraved with a high-power diode. For deep, permanent bare-metal marking, invest in a fiber laser.
